Disability Services minister Stephen Dawson is urging the City of Canning to ensure it consults with residents who will be impacted by changes to support due to issues over NDIS funding.

Mornings with Gareth Parker has been monitoring the case of more than a dozen long-term residents in disabled housing administered by the City of Canning, as the council looks at whether to continue the service.

Today, Gareth spoke with the minister about what he can do about the situation.
