Could dual citizenship saga hit state politics?
A constitutional law expert has raised fresh concerns about citizenship issues for Australian politicians, this time at a state level.
Lorraine Finlay, from Murdoch University, told Mornings with Gareth Parker, state politicians who hold dual passports may in fact be ineligible to hold office in WA.
WA Liberal Senator Linda Reynolds, who chaired the Federal Committee which looked into the dual citizenship issue, then told Gareth the argument has legitimacy.
