City of Fremantle Councillor Sam Wainwright is calling for a debate on removing statues and changing street names which recognise historical figures who instigated atrocities against Aboriginal people.

Mr Wainwright told Mornings with Gareth Parker, we can’t change our history but we should consider making changes to move forward.
