Class clowns feel down

Boys who are “class clowns” are treated more negatively than girls with similar traits and its having an impact on the boys self-esteem later in life.

But an expert says we shouldn’t judge our kids and their personalities too soon.

“Most of us would agree that while certain aspects of who we are do seem to stay the same, there’s a lot of development, there’s a lot of change; our kids especially, they’re going through wild developments from 2 to 22,” Dr Justin Coulson, parenting expert and psychologist, told 6PR Breakfast.
