Claims prisons becoming bikie clubhouses

The Corrective Services Commissioner has confirmed a group of bikies is being held together within a unit at Hakea Prison, amid claims they’re treating the prison as a ‘clubhouse’

Commissioner Tony Hassell told Gareth Parker, 13 Comanchero bikies and associates are being housed within the one unit because dispersing them within the prison would make them harder to manage.

WA Prison Officers’ Union secretary Andy Smith then joined Gareth to explain what that means for officers trying to working within Hakea.
