Cancer break through

Scientists from the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne have created a blood test that can detect eight of the most common cancers.

“What we’ve developed is a blood test that can detect mutated DNA and abnormal proteins in the blood that can tell us, in quite early cancers that there’s something wrong…and hopefully diagnose early” explained Professor Peter Gibbs to Steve and Baz.
