The union movement is calling for pandemic leave to be introduced as workplaces begin to re-open.

Such leave would enable casual workers to self isolate while awaiting COVID-19 test results whilst still being paid.

ACTU secretary Sally McManus told Oliver Peterson paid pandemic leave would help prevent the spread of the virus within work places.
