Former state Labor MP Barry Urban is facing 12 fraud charges. The 49-year-old has been charged with uttering a forged document, attempted fraud, and forging a record related to information he allegedly provided during applications involving the WA Police Force.

Mr Urban is also accused of giving false evidence before a parliamentary committee.

WA Today Political Reporter, Nathan Hondros joined Oly and said he is due to face court next month.
