New research shows that WA has the highest proportion of properties selling at a loss anywhere in the country with homes losing up to $115,000  on their purchase price.

RP Data Core Logic said that 28.8 per cent of homes in the Perth metro area sold at a loss in the first quarter of the year, and nearly half (49.2 per cent) of all units.
