If your yard is plagued by mosquitoes at the moment and you’ve dug out the old mozzie coil, you may be wasting your time.

“They’re causing air pollution and they don’t work,” Dr Karl Kruszelnicki simply told 6PR Breakfast. He went on to explain how he used to make a more effective mosquito repellent using cow poo.
