Australia’s minimum wage, highest in the world

Research from the OECD shows Australia has the highest minimum wage in the world with the hourly rate sitting at $12.60 USD.

Oliver Peterson spoke with Ai Group Head of Influence and Policy Peter Burn who says Australia’s high minimum wage could slow the countries efforts to get people back to work post COVID-19.
