Australians have voted YES to same sex marriage, with 61.6 percent of respondent to the postal survey in favour of marriage equality.

WA had the third highest percentage of YES voters at 63.7 percent, behind Victoria and the ACT.

WA Liberal Senator Dean Smith told Mornings with Gareth Parker, he will now introduce his bill to parliament to legislate Same Sex Marriage.
