ALP’s franking credits policy set to change

Labor says the government should be focused on improving wages, rather than worry about changing industrial relations laws.

Business argues the industrial relations system needs to be streamlined in a bid to boost productivity and jobs.

The government is pushing for some changes, especially when it comes to clamping down on union power.

But Opposition leader Anthony Albanese told Oliver Peterson the government has its priorities wrong.

Mr Albanese also said the ALP’s controversial franking credit policy would be under review, and it’s unlikely the same policy would be taken to the next election.
