Aged care visits confusion

Leading Age Services Australia says comments made by the Prime Minister and State Premiers on the number of people who can visit an aged care home are confusing for aged care providers and families.

Meanwhile Legal Aid WA is urging elderly West Aussies who are living in aged care facilities to contact them if they have been denied visitors due to COVID-19.

Oliver Peterson spoke with Leading Age Services Australia CEO Sean Rooney and Legal Aid WA Director of Civil Law Justin Stevenson.
