AG working through High Court Aboriginal deportation repercussions

The Attorney General says the Federal Government is now working through any potential repercussions – after the High Court ruled Aboriginal people born overseas cannot be deported from Australia.

The historic ruling was made after two men with Aboriginal heritage who were born overseas – challenged moves to deport them.

Christian Porter has told Gareth Parker on Mornings the decision will have immediate ramifications for a group of people.
