Academy Award winning Artist Shaun Tan has joined forces with other local, national and international Artists to create special artwork for an auction organised by Collier Primary School in Como. The unique idea has seen the School who is celebrating their 70th anniversary, despatch 70 old and unplayable violins for them to create a one of a kind piece of artwork.

The West Coast Eagles, Dockers and the Scorchers have also created their own Violin artwork masterpiece.

The Violin Art will go under the hammer at the Manning Community Hall on Friday.  Tickets are free but you must register on eventbrite.com.au or call the School on 9474 3626.
