“A Budget of missed opportunities”

It’s been 24-hours since Treasurer Josh Frydenberg handed down a Federal Budget that will bring us back into surplus. As always, there’s winners and losers.  Here’s who joined Oliver Peterson for the Perth LIVE Budget wrap-up:

National Seniors Australia Chief Advocate Ian Henschke says the Budget is a missed opportunity for older Australians.

RAC General Manager of Corporate Affairs Will Golsby believes the $1.6 billion in the budget will deliver key projects but there’s no funding for new and long-term strategy for regional road trauma

Anglicare WA CEO Mark Glasson adds that a one off payment and tax cuts will make little long term difference to those on the poverty line.
