It’s well documented that pets can have a major impact on our lives ? but are we paying enough attention to their impact on our health?

Lecturer in health policy, politics and promotion at University of South Australia Dr Janette Young says that while the health industry has accepted the positive influence has on our health not enough research is being done into how health systems, services and public policy can use the power of pets.

She spoke with Adam Shand.
