Perth is the centre of the AFL universe tonight, with 60,000 people expected to turn out for the first Preliminary Final.

Oliver Peterson joined the hoards of Melbourne and Geelong fans outside Optus Stadium to broadcast PerthLIVE.

AFL Executive General Manager Clubs and Broadcasting, Travis Auld stopped by, and admitted West Aussies have every right to call Optus Stadium the best venue in the country.

Optus Stadium CEO Mike McKenna told Oly, there has been a massive recruiting drive for workers to fill hospitality jobs for the game.

And McKenna revealed they still need an extra 700 workers for the Grand Final.
