Covering a land mass more than a third of the Australian continent, the WA branch of the Royal Flying Doctor Service has their work cut out for them.

Their mammoth efforts, state-of-the-art technology and innovation do not go unnoticed – medical director Dr Stephen Langley was named WA’s Local Hero at the annual awards in 2015.

Dr Langford spoke to Chris Ilsley for this year’s first Perth Tonight Spotlight and spoke at length about the life-saving work RFDS does.
