A Perth dance studio has made its mark internationally, with a team of dancers being named the Best Dance Team in the world at a major competition.

The Society Dance Studio impressed judges, fans and fellow dancers in Cancun, winning out against professionals from across the globe.

Michelle Jose is the mother of one of the dancers, and told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast she was incredibly proud.

“It’s extraordinary dancing; you just go, ‘how did they coordinate all of that?'” Ms Jose said.
