Heavy metal icon and Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 76.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that Osbourne was still performing just weeks before his death.

“To be able to go out on a high like that, where he not only did the concert, the reunion concert with his original band members in his home town, but he also handed over a cheque for $250 million to local charities,” he said.
