Newly appointed West Coast Eagles co-captain Oscar Allen joined Wide World of Sports on Wednesday night following the club’s leadership announcement.

“Early this morning that I got the tip-off by Simmo this morning that something that was going to come out this afternoon.”

Speaking with Mark Readings, Allen was honoured and excited to take the role.

“They’ve really invested a lot of time, resources and faith into me and Liam to lead the club forward.”

“We were both neck and neck, and the club thought it would be a great decision for both of us to lead the club forward.”
