The West Coast Eagles have relocated to the Gold Coast ahead of the revamped competition restart this weekend.

Eagles forward Josh Kennedy and his teammates arrived to their new home away from home in Queensland last night and says it’s been an interesting experience already.

“It was pretty funny, I went down to Coles this morning with Nic (Naitanui) and no one knows Nic, so Nic was pretty happy that he can actually go shopping and no one knows him,” Kennedy told 6PR Breakfast.

It’s been 12 weeks between Rounds 1 and 2, but the team is excited to get out an play on Saturday evening at Metricon Stadium.

“Gold Coast this week; everything’s back into it; it’s finally here!
“Now to actually be able to go out and play, everyone’s switched on and ready to go,” Kennedy said.
