Award-winning Australian actor Deborah Mailman, known for her long and illustrious career in iconic Aussie productions, has a new film, Kangaroo, set to hit cinemas.

She told Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the movie is a heartfelt and humorous take on the real-life story of the kangaroo sanctuary in Alice Springs.

Mailman emphasised, “Our sense of humour, our country, it is so unique and it is something that we can all be proud of.”
