West Australians now have an average of 22 devices connected to the internet in each family’s home, a staggering number operators at the NBN believe will increase even more going in to the new year.

Jane McNamara told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live the company is constantly looking forward to the capability needed to handle ever-growing data usage.

“It’s all new sorts of devices to like smart vacuums, smart fridges, reticulation, security cameras, Ms McNamara said. 

“All of those things are connected devices and need faster, reliable NBN to deliver those services into your homes.”
