“Leadership is acting early, before tragedy forces your hand,” she said on Perth Live.

Director of the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation at Monash University, Associate Professor David Slucki, also weighed in on the Prime Minister’s announcement.

“The mood that I’m seeing is one of support for the royal commission,” Professor Slucki said.
