Marathon sitting for voluntary assisted dying Bill

The Legislative Assembly has sat for 20 consecutive hours while they examined the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill.

The sleep deprived MP couldn’t help but keep the debate going with Peter Katsambanis on 6PR Breakfast.

The marathon sitting almost broke a 25-year record, but Mr Whitby says they were a mere three-minutes short.
