Ross Lyon has avoided the coaching cliche conceding the Western Derby is more than an average game. 

West Coast won the first nine Western Derby’s, but Fremantle have a chance to level the ledger at 21-21 this weekend. 

When asked to deliver the cliche that it’s a just another game, Lyon said: ‘I think it’s a bit more important than that. It’s a derby one v two.’ 

‘We’ll prepare the same way.’
