A Perth basketball player returned home this week after playing in Italy and France, he responsibly put himself in self isolation at a hotel in the city but as the room door closed he realised he was lacking all the essentials.

Simon Lokan found a Perth Facebook group put together to help people out during the Coronavirus crisis and asked for advice… instead he received a lot of help from complete strangers.

“Three lovely ladies, Megan, Shannon, Fiona, offering to bring food to door and I’m thinking ‘wow I wasn’t expecting this’
“It was all very overwhelming, I’m so grateful,” Mr Lokan told 6PR Breakfast.
