As revelations continue regarding negative comments Kevin Rudd has made toward US President Donald Trump,

Dean Smith, Liberal Senator for WA, has broken party ranks and suggested to 6PR host Gary Adshead that it is not in Australia’s best interest for Kevin Rudd to remain as Ambassador to the United States.

“If I were the foreign minister, I would probably ask him to pack his bags,” he said.
