Liberal leader slams Labor’s net zero target as unaffordable and unattainable
Federal Opposition Leader Sussan Ley outlined the Liberal’s position on renewable energy, which includes formally abandoning the 2050 net zero target.

She explained to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the party considers Labor’s target unattainable and its cost too high, adding that.
“We’re not anti-renewable and it would be a mistake to suggest that we were but we have to get the transition right,” she said.
