Western Australian Labor has announced Georgia Tree as its candidate for the Secret Harbour byelection, as One Nation continues to field nominations.

Business News reporter Gary Adshead told 6PR Drive host Mark Doran that Labor’s pick has an “interesting back story”, and said that One Nation’s success is not guaranteed.

“Everyone is saying that the polling these days is going to reflect dramatically better for One Nation, time will tell on that … Whether or not One Nation translates here, this is absolutely a test for them,” he said.
