Australia’s most divisive radio duo might soon be making a return to the roles they’re most known for.

The Australian Financial Review has quoted sources saying Southern Cross Austereo – who previously axed The Kyle and Jackie O Show  – are trying to court the pair.

Entertainment guru Peter Ford told Mick and Gena Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson had grown their audience base rapidly in their time at KIIS FM.

“So of course that network would love to get them back, ” Mr Ford said.
