Jawai ‘proppy’ for finals

Perth Wildcats coach Trevor Gleeson says his team will be at full strength for the finals, but has conceded that Nate Jawai will be proppy.

The Boomer Jawai has been troubled by a back injury in recent weeks and left the court before half time in Sunday’s game and didn’t return until midway through the third quarter.

Import Casey Prather has also been bothered by hamstring soreness and Matt Knight’s left shoulder will require surgery at seasons end.

‘Yeah, we’ll be at full strength. It was good to get Casey back on the court last weekend,’ Gleeson said.

‘(Nate) will be a little bit proppy, but I have full confidence our medical staff will get him up for Friday night.

‘He’s had great games against Illawara in the past and hopefully he can do that again on Friday night.’
