Plenty of people have been taking aim at Tom Gross for being run down in the final seconds of West Coast’s heartbreaking loss to Richmond.

But Jake Waterman has spoken glowingly of the four-game Eagle saying there is plenty to be excited about.

“We’ve found one in that kid.”

Waterman checked in for his regular Monday Night spot on Wide World of Sports and looked back at yesterday’s frantic finish, missed opportunities in front of goal, young Eagles creating chances as well as the whispers that Jeremy McGovern may have played his last game of AFL football.
