It’s not Ross’ fault: Brad Hill

Article image for It’s not Ross’ fault: Brad Hill

After the 47-point loss to the Western Bulldogs, Fremantle coach Ross Lyon said the team is embarrassed by the performance; and the players agree.

“It was probably one of the poorest games we’ve played all year,” Bradley Hill told 6PR Breakfast.
“It was a pretty bad game by us and that’s not the standard of footy we want to play. It definitely would’ve been upsetting for our fans.”

But he added it’s the player who are to blame for the big loss, not the coach.
“Ross aint out there on the footy field getting the ball, getting the marks, kicks, handballs, tackles. He’s coming out giving us a game plan and we’re not sticking too it,” Hill told Steve and Baz.
“It’s definitely not Ross’ fault at all.”
