South Australian detectives remain hopeful they will identify the remains of a young girl found dumped, along with a suitcase, next to a highway six weeks ago.

Investigators believe the girl was around 3-years-old when she was killed.

Detective Inspector GREG HUTCHINS told Gary Adshead on Mornings, that police believe it’s only a matter of time before the mystery is solved.
