Royal Australian Navy veteran and Invictus captain continues to compete despite being diagnosed with a rare strain of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
6PR’s Gary Adshead spoke to the remarkable veteran, Doug Griffith, who explained what it means to compete at the Invictus Games.
“I didn’t want to be cheated out of the rest of my life, so I’ve refused to let the challenges build up and stop me from doing what I want to do,” he said.
