West Australians have been asked to ‘Step Up to Prevent Homelessness’ in a bid to raise awareness of the number of people living rough in Perth, and to help solve the problem of homelessness in WA.

Aspiring musician Ella Munro found herself without a roof over her head at the age of seventeen, but has managed to get back on her feet.

Shelter WA CEO Chantal Roberts says a number of events have been planned for Homelessness Prevention Week in Perth, that runs until Sunday, August 9th.
