Former St Kilda player, Blake Acres, is set to make his Fremantle debut this weekend against Brisbane.

Fremantle has their main session this afternoon ahead of facing Brisbane on Saturday, Acres told Steve and Baz. A hamstring injury held Acres back from playing in Round 1, but he says he’s match fit and ready to go.

“I feel like I’m up to it, I’ve done all I can. It’s not my choice, I’ll be putting myself there if I could but it’s obviously the coaches pick,” Acres told 6PR Breakfast.

Jesse Hogan hasn’t played since Round 14 last year when he injured his right foot, but Acres says his teammate is also keen to have a kick.

“We both missed a bit of time obviously with injury and Hogan dealing with some other stuff, but we both feel like we’re ready to play this week,” Acres said.
