Hawks Premiership hero to West Coast?

Kim Hagdorn says the Eagles are in discussions with Hawthorn four-time Premiership player Sam Mitchell about finishing his career in at the club.
The 33-year-old Mitchell won his fifth Peter Crimmins medal last Saturday night to move into second on the all-time list behind eight-time winner Leigh Matthews.
Mitchell was also the Hawks Premiership captain in 2008 and has played 307 games since 2002.
‘I’m not so sure it could transpire, but it is taking place, it’s a bombshell in the trade period,’ Hagdorn said.
‘Hawthorn have met with clubs yesterday and they have given up a list of eight names that are not up for trade and the rest are.
‘Sam Mitchell is in dialogue with West Coast Eagles hierarchy at the prospect of a trade to finish his career at West Coast.
‘Two years and finish up as a coach beyond that and he’s only on a one-year deal at Hawthorn for next year.’
