The Seniors Recreation Council of WA (SRC) is proud to present Have A Go Day, supported by 882 6PR, at Burswood Park, Great Eastern Highway on Wednesday 11 November between 8.30am and 3pm.

This year Have A Go Day celebrates it’s 24th year, with over 230 sites specifically addressing senior’s interests, services and activities.  The Theme for 2015 is Remembrance Day.

Get there by 10.30am for the opening ceremony with 6PR’s Drive announcer Adam Shand, and Hon. Tony Simpson, Minister for Seniors & Volunteering.

Highlights of the day are: music based activities, WA Bush Poets & Yarn Spinners, Justin Friend, Frank Sinatra & Friends show, Have A Go Day official walk, Prime Movers exercise to music, Jim’s Country Sing-a-long, Heart Foundation walk, major prize draw and the WA Police Pipe Band concert.

Plus there’s heaps more, with prizes donated by Crown Perth, Have A Go News, Kings Tours & Travel, Channel Seven, Telstra and Sizzler.
