Jeremy McGovern is set to make his return to the playing side this weekend with the fixture reshuffle working in his favour.

The defender was a late exclusion ahead of last weekend’s game against Port Adelaide, but the move from a Thursday night game to a Saturday afternoon game will give McGovern a chance to fully recover from his ankle injury.

“I think he’ll be good now; we were obviously a bit worried with this five-day break leading in to Richmond and how it would pull up… he’s had another week to heal,” Josh Kennedy told 6PR Breakfast.
