The PGA Tour, European Tour and LIV Golf are set to merge to form a commercial entity to unify golf.

Former professional golfer Mark Allen says it has taken him by surprise, but believes the PGA Tour will now be one of the most “prized tickets in world sports”.

“I’m still shaking my head in disbelief; I still can’t believe it, it’s come out of nowhere,” Mr Allen told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast.
