The Gold Coast Suns have won their first game in Perth after a 26-point win over Fremantle on Saturday night. Fremantle struggled to defend with Gold Coast impressive in front of goals for their 19.12 (126) to 14.16 (100) victory. 

Gold Coast took charge from the start taking advantage of their possessions. Tom Lynch was impressive in front of the big sticks with five goals. 

Nat Fyfe impressed with 34 disposals and Matthew Pavlich improved as the game went on, but Fremantle were left to play catch up.

The Fremantle skipper spoke with 6PR after the Dockers’ loss: ‘We’re sticking together; no point really going off the handle. We’ve got some clear things we need to work on.’
