GAME DAY: Fade out cost Freo

A final quarter fade out has cost Fremantle as they claim their tenth loss of the season going down to St Kilda by 34-points at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Fremantle entered the final quarter 13-points in the lead, but St Kilda hit back with eight unanswered goals to run out big winners, 15.11 (101) to 10.7 (67).
After an animated chat from the Fremantle coach at quarter time the Dockers lifted to bring the margin to a mere point at the big break.

Pav with a goal from a tough angle
‘He’s been missing them while he’s in front. Now he’s doing trick shots’ – Drew Morphett #AFLSaintsFreo? 6PR Football (@6prfootball) May 28, 2016
The third quarter was a high intensity match up as Fremantle edged in front thanks to goals from Lachie Neale, Tommy Sheridan and Matt Taberner while the Saints were left goalless in the term.

But it was all the Saints in the fourth quarter as Fremantle missed their chances.
‘They’ve made some fundamental errors with their ball use and St Kilda have been capitalising’ – Brad Hardie #aflsaintsfreo
