GAME DAY: Eagles too quick for Tigers

Article image for GAME DAY: Eagles too quick for Tigers

The West Coast Eagles have shrugged off their Priddis-less line up for a convincing 68-point win over the Richmond Tigers at Domain Stadium on Friday night.

The Eagles were without one of their best with Matt Priddis left out of the side due to soreness and a short turn around from Round 3’s Western Derby, but it didn’t stop West Coast from celebrating their 30th anniversary in style with a 18.17 (125) to 9.3 (57) victory over the Tigers.

Although Richmond had first points on the board, West Coast quickly replied and then never looked back to take charge of the game early. Luke Shuey stepped up to gain 22 disposals and two goals while Andrew Gaff clocked up an impressive 33 disposals.
