Actor and voice artist John O’Hara was today’s guest on Backstories.

Growing up as a naturally shy kid, John O’Hara persevered and chased his dream from the City of Melville to the Australian theatre stage.

Mr O’Hara told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons, “I really had this dream. I think that was part of why I pursued it, I was a dreamer as a kid.”

“I had belief in myself and I was prepared to do the work. It didn’t come easy to me, and I think that may be the secret to being successful,” Mr O’Hara said.
