Former Carlton defender and cult-figure Ang Christou joined Wide World of Sports on Tuesday night with Adam Papalia and Will Schofield.

And Christou kindly stepped out of a dinner in Carlton heartland in Lygon Street to paint the picture.

“It’s electric. It’s all painted Blue!”.

During Christou’s playing days, fans would often let out a “WOOF” when the left-footer unleashed a raking bomb and as coincidence would have it, Christou is nextdoor neighbours with current day “WOOF” recipient Adam Saad.

“I was asked to hand over the “WOOF” to Adam Saad on a podcast and within 24 hours, it was prominent.”

Will Schofield asked in jest which Carlton team would come out on top if they battled it out; the 90’s Blues or the 2023 Blues.

“Come on mate, come on, half of the guys at Carlton now wouldn’t get a sniff in ’95.”
